I have been getting my car serviced at Automotive Excellence since 1998. The experience has always been great, and, more importantly, my OLD hatchback continues to run great--still getting 40 mpg, which is about 4 mpg more than it's supposed to get! (And yes, the prices are very reasonable.) In fact, when I bought my car in 2000, I picked a Honda just so I could remain an Automotive Excellence customer; no car is too big or too small for Mike and team. (I could tell you stories, but they're all good.:-))

Mike and the team at Automotive Excellence are the best car repair shop in Sonoma County. They do all the little things that make me feel like a valued customer, whether it be giving me an extra discount even though I didn't bring in a coupon, to vacuuming and washing my car after a service. They're open Saturdays which is a huge help with my busy work schedule, and whenever they need to keep my car over night they have free loaner cars available. I highly recommend them!

Our first visit was approx. 20 years ago when we lived in Rohnert Park, and despite the fact we moved 30 miles away 18 years ago we wouldn't go anywhere else. We have been loyal customers for about 20 years now, despite moving 30 miles away 18 years ago its worth the drive knowing that Mike and his team consistently provide quality service that keep our vehicles running well. They are honest, friendly and reliable and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and price is competitive. Why take your car to the dealer and pay much more?

I've been coming to Automotive Excellence since sometime in the early 1990s. We bought a used Acura from a friend and they said they had the car serviced there. So, we continued having it serviced there as well. After over 250,000 miles, we replaced that car with a Toyota. After paying for a dealer's service for a year or more, we decided to bring the car to Mike. He has kept that car healthy and running well for many, many years. It now has over 260,000 miles and keeps running like a champ. Mike and his team have always taken great care of our vehicles. Repair costs seem fair and we know we can trust them to do what needs to be done without upselling us on unnecessary repairs. Glad for the initial referral way back and would recommend them without hesitation. After having horrible experiences at the local Honda Dealers, Automotive Excellence is the ONLY place I will take my car. They have been servicing my car ever since I bought it (8 yrs ago) and I have NEVER had any issues with the work they have done. They are reliable, trustworthy, and THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! When my son started to drive, I encouraged him to buy a Honda so he would be able to go to Automotive Excellence as well. I learned a long time ago that a good and honest mechanic is worth his weight in gold. I have recommended them to all of my friends who drive cars that they work on.

Getting my car serviced at Automotive Excellence is always a pleasure! I know when I drive away that my car will be in top running condition and safe. They check all levels (oil, brake fluid, water, air, etc.) and I know when the owner Mike tells me my car needs something, it does! He has a knack for knowing when something can wait without driving dangerously or spending money needlessly. Mike's team, from Jon and staff at the front desk, his mechanics, and including the shuttle driver make sure all your needs are met. Need a loaner car? Not a problem, just make sure you mention it when you call for your appointment. Need a ride? Not a problem, again just mention it and they make it happen! And if you happen to wait while your car is being serviced, there's always Princess. The cat that Mike so kindly adopted and greets everyone that goes there. She’ll keep you company while you wait and will occasionally try talk to you. I have been going to Mike almost as long as he has been in business. I'm on my third Honda, and the reason I've kept each car as long as I have, is because of the exceptional maintenance they provide. Not sure what I'll do when Mike retires, buy a Mustang or a Camaro? I have been with A.E. for over 25 years. During that time Mike and his staff have cared for all of my cars and those of my mother, my sister and my wife. It's a family deal! Anyway, I'm sure there are cheaper automotive service centers around, but Automotive Excellence gets it right the first time and goes above and beyond in every way. I highly recommend them!
