I would like to say... Hospitality and service still exist. My son is a student at Sonoma State University. He had an alternator issue with his 2001 Honda CRV. Because of logistics, I wouldn't have time and means to fix it my self. I contacted Automotive Excellence and spoke to Terry. She was sympathetic to our issue and was very accommodating. She worked and scheduled an appointment around my son's class schedule. The day of the appointment, I met Dave the owner. I introduced myself and my son to Dave. He was easy going and assured me that my son and his car will be taken care of. Taking his word I felt comfortable and was able to make the journey home. He called and confirmed that it was the alternator. Had it done by the end of the day. I told Terry and Dave my son wanted to pay for the service, they gave him a student discount. Radiator and Hose Replacement

After a number of sub-par experiences with my car, that left it in a less-than-desirable state, I finally found Dave and team at Automotive Excellence, and boy do I wish I had found them sooner! Dave is extremely knowledgable and professional. My car was fixed in no time, at a very reasonable price, and I felt like he was extremely honest. I will definitely be taking my car here exclusively going forward.

I had taken previous cars to Automotive Excellence years ago but moved away for a bit so had not been there for quite years. I am now back in Rohnert Park and when I got into the car recently I saw a message on the screen saying that the starter battery was in its death throes and I should use the emergency brake to park. That made me nervous so I called Toyota to inquire. They suggested I request a tow, and when the driver arrived he told me that AAA had "battery trucks" and he would have one sent to me with a battery and they would replace it at my home. Great! Well, a half hour later AAA texted to say that they no longer installed off-site, so no-go. I next called Automotive Excellence and Darlene said she could order a battery that they'd have late in the day; I made an appointment with her for the following morning. Well, that morning the battery was completely dead. I called for roadside assistance again, which I purchased as part of the extended warranty when I bought the car. I told the rep where I wanted the car towed and she said that they were only allowed to tow to Toyota dealerships; I had not been told that and I was not at all happy. I called AE and, since I live maybe 1.5 miles from the shop, I asked Darlene if they ever did house calls. Rarely, she said, but twenty minutes later Dave was at my house with a battery, a great smile and laugh to match. I told him that if I ever have any car trouble that is not fixable through my warranty, I will bring any vehicle I own there. AE is super.

I took my car to this small family-owned shop based on a neighbor's recommendation and the many excellent reviews online. Really glad I did! From the time I called for an appointment (which I needed on short notice), and all the way through the process, these folks were sincerely helpful, courteous, responsive, and went the extra mile. Great work, fair prices, and perfect service. They clearly take a lot of pride in their work and in being a reliable community business. As a bonus, they returned my car way cleaner than they found it — and they stayed open a few minutes late so I could pick it up the same day. So impressed! They made a happy new customer for sure.

Through a referral from a close friend I brought my wife’s Toyota Corolla in because she drove over a parking birm . Things underneath got disconnected a bit. Dave was extremely friendly. Within five minutes he had her car on the rack, brought out a few parts and tools. He had the loose pieces reconnected in about 10-15 minutes! When I asked how much I owed him , he said, nothing!” At this point I thanked him, got home and set up service for my 1997 Nissan pickup. When I brought in everyone was extremely cordial. As a matter of fact when I got into my car two different mechanics greeted me, and explained what they did, and what is likely to be needed on my next service. I took my car in for a misfire issue and within little time, I received a diagnostic. While I was told it might take some time to replace the fuel injector and gaskets in my infiniti G35, the staff worked super quick and my car was repaired the same day. The staff took the time to keep me updated on the work and also followed up a few weeks after the repair had been completed to check in on the status of my car. I have had no additional issues and my car is running great! This is a great shop to use. I highly recommend it. 👍🏼👌🏼
