As always these guys are great. This is the only place I take my 22 year old truck. I've referred several friends & family.

They are absolutely everything that their name suggests. I've been to many repair shops; but, Automotive Excellence is the best by a long shot. Mechanics are Meticulous. DJ went above and beyond, in my experience; but, for him, it was probably just a Tuesday. I'm really impressed with the job that was done on our Landcruiser. I don't plan on going anywhere else, from now on.

I had a check engine light come on while in Rohnert Park, I called Les Schwab Tires to see if they could check it for me and they don’t offer that service, but recommended Automotive Excellence, so I called and Terri said to bring my car in and they would check it for me. Turns out it was my thermostat that needed replacing, so Dave replaced it a few days later. Two weeks later I brought my car to them because my A/C wasn’t blowing cool air, turns out I needed to have my system recharged. I just felt very comfortable taking my car there. Overall very reasonable prices and great customer service! They definitely go that extra mile, which is far and few these days. I would highly recommend them.

My wife has a 2001 RAV-4 that she absolutely loves. With only about 100,000+ miles on it, it's obvious that she doesn't drive it a lot. But when she does it's important to me that the car is in top shape and will safely get her from point A to point B. Our recent experience with Automotive Excellence reinforces the reason I began going there since we moved to Rohnert Park in 2000. On this day they performed an extensive maintenance service on the RAV-4 that covered all systems including oil change, filter changes (cabin, oil, trans), transmission service, cooling system service, lights, wipers, tires, brakes, suspension, and alignment with such attention to detail that I challenge any factory dealership to match them. I got a call from Dave explaining an issue with the left front steering knuckle and alignment that was approved and resolved effectively and efficiently the same day. After getting the car back that night I was surprised to get a text message that supplied me with a link to a detailed and photographed report of their findings and noted potential issues that might need to be addressed in the future. To me it's those small things, the attention to detail, and the professional care that everyone at Automotive Excellence takes to do the job right the first time that makes me feel good about choosing them to look after us and our cars. Top Quality service every time!

We took our 13 year old minivan on a road trip and had the check engine light (some other lights also) come on. We had to stop in Southern California and got ripped off - the person down there did not fix the problem. When we finally got back to Sonoma we had to find a place to get our car fixed. Automotive Excellence not only explained what was wrong but also fixed up our car. They even got us a loaner car for the 2 days so we could still go to work. We found our local service & repair shop from now on.

Front tires were wearing wrong so I brought it in to have them check the rears to make sure I didn't need all 4. Dave (?) said no. I asked if the front wear was due to camber, he said no, likely under inflation. I was skeptical but came back w/ new fronts for an alignment. After 20 minutes they said it was done, no alignment needed. Really? Great, how much do I owe? Zero. Wow. Having been in the trade myself (20 years now w/ no grease under my fingernails thank goodness haha) I have always took offense at people who think all mechanics are crooks but Dave had every right to charge for the inspection and didn't. Too cool.

Tire rotation, general inspection of hoses and filters, oil change, transmission fluid replacement etc.: routine service for car with 90+ thousand miles on it. Very professional and courteous staff, great customer service, great follow-through. Highly recommend.
